What is RefWorks?

RefWorks logo

RefWorks is a citation manager. It can help you organize your research by storing citations for the articles you find. You can then use those citations to automatically generate a bibliography, formatted to whatever citation style you choose. You can sync your RefWorks account with Microsoft Word to drop in-text citations into your document.

For an overview of referencing software options, including RefWorks, see the University of Birmingham iCite Guide

RefWorks is a web-based tool, available to you as a University user both on- and off-campus on FindIt .  Always go via FindIt - and sign in with your Uni login details - to locate and open RefWorks.
