Introduction

This guide will take you through the basics of using Embase (Ovid) and RefWorks

It covers creating an account on RefWorks, carrying out a literature search for journal articles on the database Embase (similar to Medline), then how to transfer results to RefWorks and cite them in your Word documents.

The activities are divided into sections as follows:

  • Activity 1: Set up on RefWorks
  • Activity 2: Planning your search
  • Activity 3: Database searching (Embase)
  • Activity 4: RefWorks
