Introduction

This guide offers a range of activities aimed at helping you to find and use resources for Law. The guide is divided into a series of activities so that you can choose the ones that are most helpful to you rather than doing them all.

The activities are divided into sections as follows:

  • Activities 1-6:  Finding laws, cases and parliamentary debates
  • Activities 7-11:  Finding academic journal articles and other publications for your literature review

Academic Skills Advisors

Academic Skills Advisors are available to provide help, advice, training, support and documentation to  undergraduate and masters students undertaking research, project work, essays and/or dissertations. Support is provided for all subjects in the form of one-to-one appointments or virtual online help via Skype. Research Skills Advisors

Research Skills Advisors are available to provide help, advice, training, support and documentation to research postgraduate students and academic staff undertaking research and project work. Support is provided for all subjects in the form of one-to-one appointments or virtual online help via Skype.
