Find eJournals within BrowZine

What is BrowZine?

BrowZine is a virtual news stand of Libraries and Learning Resources' eJournal collections. Using BrowZine enables you to easily discover, read and monitor the key journals in your field. You can use BrowZine to:

  • Search for eJournals by either title or subject area;
  • Read and save journal articles;
  • Create a bookshelf of the key eJournals in your area;
  • Create alerts when new articles for eJournals on your bookshelf are published.

How to access BrowZine

BrowZine is available in two formats - as an online web version or as a downloadable app for use on smartphones and tablets.

Web Version

There are a number of ways you can access the web version of BrowZine:

  • Perform a search in your preferred search engine for BrowZine. Choose 'University of Birmingham' as your preferred library. Please note that if you are already logged in, you may be recognised as a member of the University of Birmingham automatically.
  • Access via FindIt@Bham. Simply select the eJournals tab at the top of the FindIt@Bham ribbon.

App Version

To use BrowZine on your smartphone or tablet, you can download the BrowZine App for iOS and Android. Once the app has downloaded use the following steps to get started:

  • Step 1 - Choose University of Birmingham from the list of available libraries.
  • Step 2 - You will then be asked to log in with your University of Birmingham username and password.
  • Step 3 - Once logged in, you can begin browsing by subject category, or perform a search in the search box.
