How to access Bloomberg

Accessing the terminals

We have twelve physical Bloomberg terminals on the Edgbaston Campus. One of these terminals is in the Main Library and the other eleven are in the Alan Walters Building.

To access the Bloomberg terminal in the Main Library, go to MyPCBooking and book a slot to access the terminal.

The eleven terminals in the Alan Walters Building are in a teaching cluster and can be used if available. Please note, however, that teaching may be in progress at certain times of the day and the terminals inaccessible.

How to register an account

First time users must register for an account.

When accessing Bloomberg on one of the designated terminals, you will be presented with a login screen
If it is the first time using Bloomberg, go to ‘Create a New Login’ at the bottom of the screen then follow the registration process.

LSEG Workspace contains near real-time and historical financial information on individual equities, stock market indices, fixed-income securities, currencies, commodities, and futures for both international and domestic markets.

How to Access Workspace

To use more than one application on your screen at a time, open the "Layouts" App.
