What if you are short on the word counts?
Here are some suggestions on what you could do.
1. Check whether you have answered the assignment question fully.
- Break down the question. Have you answered all the aspects required?
- Have you included relevant theories (if needed)?
- Have you defined any special terminology used?
2. Check your arguments.
- Have you explained your arguments in detailed?
- Have you included sufficient evidence and examples?
- Have you linked your point with the argument?
- Have you arranged your argument logically?
3. Check your signposting.
- Have you included appropriate signposting phrases in your essay?
- Have you written a transition sentence/ paragraph to guide the readers?
