What FindIt@Bham can do

FindIt@Bham gives you access to information about all the Library's resources from one location.  This includes books, journal articles, theses, audio-visual materials, databases, archives and much more.

You can also check your library account, consult your module resource lists, and obtain help and guidance from library staff.  For further details about any of these services, click on the relevant tab above.

Your library account

Use your Library Account to:

  • See what you have on loan
  • Check books you have requested
  • See your potential fines
  • See a list of books you've returned (you can sort by title and when you returned them)
  • Access your e-shelf
  • View your saved searches

Instant help and advice from library staff

Just Ask !

You can use our Just Ask! messaging service to ask a quick question of our library staff at any time. There's always a librarian ready to chat.

Subject guides and subject support

Library Services provide training and support for all students and staff in the use of our resources, as well as in developing their study and research skills.  This training can be in the form of face-to-face classroom sessions or workshops, online modules, printed guides or individual appointments.
