Clinical Knowledge Summaries (CKS) are aimed at Primary Care personnel and deal especially with management scenarios.
Enter keywords in the search bar, or use the A-Z topic list.
Example: from the CKS home page, start entering 'depression' in the search bar.
- This prompts suggestions: choose "depression in children"
- Go to "Management" and choose the Scenario "Moderate to severe depression". Note the extensive information within this CKS page regarding management of the condition, including antidepressants and related information
The British National Formulary or BNF is also available to UK users via a link on the CKS pages. For University of Birmingham members, access to BNF via the Medicines Complete platform (linked from FindIt@Bham) is recommended.
