- Open Access journals
- In Institutional Repositories such as UoB's
- Preprint servers and subject repositories
- Researcher's own webpages
- Open-web database or platforms such as Jstor which also offer paid for access via the JPASS scheme.
- Academic networking and discovery sites such as ResearchGate and Academia.edu which often allow downloads of articles, or the ability to request an author to share a copy.
