As with other referencing software, individual items can be added to the database using a manual template.
In Zotero:
- From the File tab (top left), place the cursor over New Item at the top
- Choose a format from the long drop-down list from the New item arrow
- Options include: Book, book section, journal article, newspaper article and many others
- Complete the details required, then click and drag the item to your required folder (collection)
